Bitcoin ETFs Lead $68.8M in Crypto Fund Inflows as Ether…

U.S. spot crypto exchange-traded funds recorded a combined $68.8 million in net inflows on Tuesday, September 29, as renewed Bitcoin demand outweighed the first daily outflow from Ether funds following a six-session inflow streak.

Bitcoin ETFs attracted $66.2 million, while Solana products added $5.4 million. Ether ETFs moved in the opposite direction, posting $2.8 million of net outflows, according to finalized Farside Investors data.

The combined result improved from Monday’s $55.8 million across the same three categories, but the composition changed substantially. Bitcoin flows more than doubled from $31 million, while Ether reversed from a $17.1 million inflow and Solana slowed from $7.7 million.

BlackRock and ARK Drive Bitcoin’s $66.2M Inflow

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, IBIT, led Tuesday’s Bitcoin demand with $51.1 million, extending its position as the day’s largest contributor. ARK 21Shares’ ARKB added $33.2 million.

Those inflows were partially offset by $18.1 million leaving Bitwise’s BITB. Fidelity’s FBTC, Grayscale’s GBTC and Bitcoin Mini Trust, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT and the remaining tracked products recorded no net movement.

The resulting $66.2 million total was more than twice Monday’s $31 million, when BlackRock’s $54.8 million inflow had been offset by redemptions from Fidelity and Grayscale.

Bitcoin ETFs have nevertheless slowed sharply from the extraordinary flows recorded the previous week. The category attracted $999 million on September 21 and $714.7 million on September 22, followed by $346.9 million Wednesday, $190.7 million Thursday and $134.5 million Friday. Monday and Tuesday extended the aggregate positive streak, but at considerably lower levels.

Bitcoin itself was trading around $83,000-$84,000 on September 29, consolidating after its strong third-quarter advance as elevated Treasury yields continued to pressure risk assets.

Ether Breaks Inflow Streak While Solana Stays Positive

Ether funds were Tuesday’s weak point. BlackRock’s ETHA recorded an $8.9 million outflow, while Fidelity’s FETH lost another $6.7 million. Those redemptions were substantially offset by $12.8 million flowing into Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust, leaving the category with a net $2.8 million withdrawal.

That represented a sharp change from Monday, when Ether ETFs attracted $17.1 million, including $15.4 million through ETHA. More importantly, Tuesday ended a run of positive aggregate flows stretching back through September 18.

Solana ETFs remained positive for another session, although demand moderated.

Bitwise’s BSOL attracted $5.7 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSOL added $1.3 million, while VanEck’s VSOL recorded a $1.6 million outflow. The remaining tracked products were flat, producing the $5.4 million category total.

Solana flows have cooled considerably since Friday’s record $86.7 million session, but the category has continued attracting net capital. Farside’s cumulative flow figure for the products stood at approximately $1.61 billion after Tuesday.

Across the three asset classes, September 29 therefore showed a market increasingly dependent on Bitcoin for fresh ETF demand. Bitcoin accounted for almost the entire gross inflow, while Ether slipped negative and Solana contributed only modestly.

The aggregate $68.8 million remained positive, but compared with the multibillion-dollar flows seen during the previous week’s surge, Tuesday’s data pointed to continued institutional demand at a substantially slower pace.
