Crypto ETFs Add $193 Million on August 24 as Bitcoin…

U.S.-listed cryptocurrency ETFs extended their inflow streak on August 24, with Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and Hyperliquid products tracked by Farside Investors collectively attracting approximately $192.6 million in net new capital.

Bitcoin remained the largest contributor, recording $128.7 million of net inflows and extending its positive run to six consecutive trading sessions. The result nevertheless represented a substantial slowdown from the $307.5 million recorded on Friday and $606.3 million on August 20.

Fidelity’s FBTC led reported Bitcoin flows with $104.6 million. Grayscale’s lower-fee BTC product added $16.4 million, VanEck’s HODL attracted $3.3 million, Bitwise’s BITB received $3 million and Grayscale’s Mini Bitcoin Trust added $1.4 million.

BlackRock’s IBIT was listed without a reported August 24 flow in Farside’s current table rather than with a zero, meaning the $128.7 million total should be read using the provider’s currently published data.

Bitcoin Demand Cools After Nearly $2 Billion Week

The positive Monday session follows an exceptional five-day accumulation streak during the previous week. Bitcoin ETFs attracted $297.5 million on August 17, $189.3 million on August 18, $517.2 million on August 19, $606.3 million on August 20 and $307.5 million on August 21, according to Farside.

That equals approximately $1.918 billion in five sessions, the strongest weekly inflow since October 2025 according to separate SoSoValue-based reporting. Including Monday’s $128.7 million raises the six-session Farside total to approximately $2.047 billion.

The inflows have accompanied one of Bitcoin’s strongest rallies of 2026. BTC advanced from around $64,000 during the preceding week to nearly $80,000, supported by Treasury bond-buyback announcements, improving U.S. regulatory sentiment and billions of dollars in forced short liquidations.

Ether ETFs also remained positive on Monday but experienced an even sharper slowdown. They attracted $24.7 million, compared with $184 million on August 21 and $219.5 million on August 20.

Fidelity’s FETH contributed $6.8 million, Bitwise’s ETHW added $900,000, VanEck’s ETHV received $4.5 million and Grayscale’s ETH fund attracted $12.5 million. Farside currently shows no reported August 24 figure for BlackRock’s ETHA or ETHB.

Solana Records $33.5 Million as Altcoin ETF Demand Strengthens

Solana provided the standout performance outside Bitcoin. Solana ETFs attracted $33.5 million, more than triple Friday’s $10 million and their strongest session since Farside’s recent August data began.

Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for $25 million, Fidelity’s FSOL added $4.8 million and Grayscale’s GSOL received $3.7 million. No tracked Solana product recorded an outflow.

The result brought cumulative net flows across Farside’s tracked Solana products to approximately $1.19 billion.

Hyperliquid ETFs also returned to positive territory, attracting $5.7 million after recording no net movement on August 21. Bitwise’s BHYP contributed $3.5 million and 21Shares’ THYP added $2.2 million.

Across the four Farside categories, Monday’s $192.6 million total was substantially below Friday’s approximately $501.5 million, demonstrating that institutional buying moderated after last week’s exceptional acceleration.

The composition nevertheless broadened. Bitcoin accounted for roughly two-thirds of Monday’s tracked inflows, while Solana alone captured more than 17%.

With Bitcoin and Ether both extending their positive streaks while Solana recorded a comparatively large $33.5 million session, the August 24 data suggests institutional crypto demand remains intact even as the extraordinary pace of Bitcoin ETF accumulation seen last week begins to normalize.
